Childcare Ministry

“For everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is a child of God, and everyone who loves the parent loves the child. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments.”

  • Oversees the operation of the Childcare Center
  • Comprises six voting members, appointed by the Church Council for three-year terms
  • Reviews and updates the policies governing the operation of the Childcare
  • Recruits, interviews and submits a recommended candidate for director of Childcare to the Church Council for approval
  • Reviews, approves and submits the annual budget for approval by the Church Council at it’s December meeting
  • Receives and reviews the monthly report of all transactions for the preceding month
  • Receives and reviews a written annual report, including end of the year financial disbursements and account statistics, and submits the Childcare Ministryreport to the Church Council by the second week of January
